Sep. 1--The Energy Ministry and Transport Ministry signed yesterday agreements to promote the use of natural gas for vehicle (NGV) in mass-transportation vehicles.
Under the agreements, the two ministries will promote the use of NGV in 1,000 buses of the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA). PTT will install and modify the BMTA's buses for NGV use and will charge an additional five baht per kilogramme for the NGV sold to the BMTA to cover the cost of the installation and modifications.
