Sep. 1--BankThai Plc expects strong growth in its bancassurance business next year based on the positive response to the introduction of this sales channel last year in a partnership with life insurance affiliate Millea Life Insurance (Thailand).
"The growth outlook for our new business is brilliant based on the performance over the past year and half," said Tada Charukitpaisarn, an executive vice-president at BankThai Plc.
"Bancassurance is a business channel that has been favourably received by a growing number of the banks' consumers."
