Section: General News - The transport minister has asserted that BRT buses will be used in substituting the Purple Line electric train in the Bangyai-Bangsue section, and the Orange Line in the Ramkhamhaeng section, saying he was confident construction will be complete in 2 years.

Transport Minister Pongsak Raktapongpaisal said that for the Purple Line's Bangyai-Rattanathibet-Bangsue section, the BRT will run from Bangyai-Rattanathibet-Ngamwongwan-Bangkhen-Rama 7 Bridge-Samsaen Rd.-Sanam Luang-Wongwienyai-Taksin Rd.-Sukswad Rd. and end at Ratchaburana.
