Dirk Kuijt and Salomon Kalou scored a goal each Sunday to lead Feyenoord over host Ajax 2-1 in the Dutch league.
Kuijt set up Kalou in the 16th minute with a short cross at the top of the box, and Kalou returned the favor a minute after halftime on a nearly identical play from the other direction.
"I've never felt so good after a match," Kuijt said. "Ajax's strength is positional play and there's no need to deny that they were better in that respect today. We only had two or three chances _ but we used them."
Substitute Angelos Charisteas scored for Ajax in the 80th.
"We were the better team today, but we lost due to the individual talents of two Feyenoord players," Ajax midfielder Wesley Sneijder said.
