According to data compiled by the Bureau for Investment and Economic Cycles, the Polish economy's leading index (used to forecast tendencies in the national economy) grew by 1.3 points in July. Poland's economy is dominated by positive tendencies, although the significant improvement expected by economists and politicians is nowhere in sight. Among the eight statistical elements that make up the leading index, six improved and two deteriorated in comparison to the preceding month. Production contracts are increasing, although the growth of production is a bit slower and wholesalers have a significant amount of unsold products in stock. …
