Aug. 27--Two teenage boys were stabbed outside of Alisal High School on Friday afternoon, weeks after a fence used to protect students from violent attack was taken down.

The victims, ages 15 and 14, sustained nonlife-threatening injuries, but each underwent surgery after what police described was a gang-related attack. Their conditions were not available late Friday.

Three suspects were arrested a short time later, Salinas police said.
