Tennis is a classic American pastime now back in vogue, literally, thanks to charismatic young players like Andy Roddick, Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal, as well as the annual convergence of the U.S. Open and Olympus Fashion Week in New York. (This year, the Open is running Aug. 29 to Sept. 11, Fashion Week Sept. 9 to 16.)
