The Transport Ministry is drawing up a comprehensive plan to create a completely Thai-owned national maritime business, which would become an integral part of the Kingdom's logistics network development master plan.

Deputy Transport Minister Phumtham Wechayachai said the parties involved, including the Marine Department, Thai Maritime Navigation Co Ltd and Thai shipping companies, are involved in detailed discussions on how to establish the business.
