Vietnam's biggest ever woodwork fair, the Ho Chi Minh City International Furniture and Handicrafts Fair 2005, or Ho Chi Minh City Expo 2005, will take place in the city on October 3-7.

The fair will set a record of scale as to the number of booths, the number of exhibitors and the locations of the participants. The number of stalls will be 1,000, twice as many as the 502 booths at Ho Chi Minh City Expo 2004. Due to the doubled size, the fair will be held concurrently at two sites, according to organizers.
