Aug. 22--Debra Watkins' lifelong interest in technology started with her father's work as a computer programmer. She moved from Minnesota to Florida, then came to Montgomery to work for her family's business, Performance Support Inc. She recently was named president of the company.

QUESTION: What brought you to Montgomery?

ANSWER: I had been doing modeling and simulation work and war gaming in Florida, and I was getting ready to move to Virginia to go to work for the Joint Warfighting Center.
