An Ohio State University feminist group has started a letter-writing campaign to urge the university to admit that it improperly handled a rape claim three years ago. The incident later resulted in a lawsuit.
People sent more that 500 letters to OSU President Karen Holbrook in one day recently, said Annie Hollis of Women and Allies Rising Against Resistance, which fights violence against women. Hollis doesn't expect the school to admit wrong-doing, since the lawsuit is still pending. Instead the letter-writing campaign is meant to raise campus awareness.
