The Rochester Institute of Technology NY is taking action to accommodate its transgendered students. The school recently added gender identity and gender expression to its anti-discrimination and harassment policy.
"It gets down to discrimination and equal opportunity," said President Albert Simone. "They have this gender identity issue--the question is, do we ignore them or treat them the same as everybody else?"
