Approval of the way President Bush is handling terrorism is down from where it was immediately after 9/11, as is confidence that his administration can protect us from another attack. Still, six in ten people continue to have confidence that the administration can protect Americans. When the Republican and Democratic parties are compared on issues relating to terrorism, Republicans have a substantial edge.
