THE Speaker of Parliament, Mr Edward Ssekandi, has said the money opposition MPs returned to Parliament on Wednesday was drawn from Parliament's vote and not from a dubious source.

" Some MPs wanted to know the source of funding. Those who asked where the money came from, Parliament has a vote," Ssekandi said.

MPs who boycotted the just ended referendum to determine the country's future political system on Wednesday returned allowances government had paid to them to mobilise people to vote for a return to multiparty politics.
