SHARE prices on Bursa Malaysia Bhd consolidated to digest the overbought market momentum during the month-long technical rebound. The recent leg of upswing move started on July 1 all the way to its terminal point last Thursday.
The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index's (KLCI) recent upswing move reversed out of its consolidation at 888.18 points on July 1. Key heavyweight index-linked counters' out-performance took the KLCI to its recent high of 953.88 points on August 4, giving a total rebound gains of 65.70 points, or 7.40 per cent.
