Turkmenistan has failed to meet the deadline of July 31, for presenting a third-party certificate on Daulatabad field reserves from where it''s required to supply gas for transboundary pipeline project, TAP for 30 years.

An official of the petroleum ministry told Business Recorder on Friday that Turkmenistan has failed to meet the deadline to present third-party certificate to confirm the reserves of Daulatabad gas field.

He said, "Despite expiry of the deadline, Ashgabat is yet to confirm the status of Daultabad field and it is a serious concern for Islamabad."
