BUCINA, South Bohemia, Aug 10 (CTK) - The Sumava National Park (NP), which spreads along the south and west Bohemian border, and the adjacent Bavarian Forest National Park want to jointly revitalise the Biskupska slat moor, one of Sumava's rarest localities, the two parks' managers told reporters today.

The goal of the project is to give the original shape to the area, impaired by drainage in the past.

"This is one of the most effective, quickest and cheapest ways to retain water in the area. At the same time, this method is very sensitive in relation to nature," Sumava NP director Alois Pavlicko said.
