BEIJING, Aug 9 Asia Pulse - Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (HACTL), Hong Kong's airport cargo terminal operator, announced yesterday its throughput in June increased by 8.6 per cent to 198,202 tons against the same month last year, driven by a strong export demand.

Export volume showed year-on-year growth of 11.9 per cent in June.

The airport's throughput for the second quarter and for the first half of the year was 596,276 tons and 1,128,624 tons, up 7.9 per cent and 5.6 per cent respectively against the same period last year.
