KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- Air Asia's group chief executive officer, Tony Fernandes was awarded the Regional & Low Cost Leadership Award at Airline Business Strategy Awards 2005.

In a statement here today, Air Asia said this award was one of six different categories presented by Airline Business each year to individuals and management in aviation industry, in recognition of their strategic vision and leadership.
