IdaTech LLC recently signed a contract with the U.S. Army to further develop a portable fuel-cell generating system for military applications, the company announced.
The Army contracted with the Bend-based subsidiary of Boise-based IdaCorp Inc. last August to develop a system employing an electro-chemical energy conversion process. Under the new contract, Ida-Tech will continue to develop its 250-watt system that soldiers can carry.
The company did not release financial details.
