Most executives now believe that mobile technologies, which can allow employees to telecom-mute or work outside the office, can actually help improve their businesses' productivity.

In a recent survey, 75% of 222 companies also said they were already allowing their employees to work using cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and notebook computers.
