Spinnaker has big plans for recently acquired Power Up. (Spinnaker Software Corp.; Power Up Software Corp.) (Brief Article)
Officials from Spinnaker Software Corp. said they plan to build the industry's largest consumer software company with the recent purchase of Power Up Software Corp.
"The small-business market is now the fastest growing segment faster than the corporate market," said Spinnaker CEO David Seuss. "We intend to be the leader."
Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, the two companies will have combined annual revenues of approximately $65 million.
Technologies from Power Up may be integrated into certain Spinnaker products, according to Seuss. For example, Power Up's Calendar Creator Plus may be put into one of Spinnaker's desktop publishing products, he …
