TOT, CAT first operators to receive licences from NTC.

Aug. 5--The National Telecommunications Commission yesterday issued six telecom licences to TOT Plc and CAT Telecom, making the state enterprises the first operators to obtain operating licences under the new Telecom Business Law.
The licences granted cover the existing telecom services the companies now operate.
TOT provides fixed-line, ISDN, 470MHz mobile phone, 900 MHz mobile phone, Internet, trunk mobile, paging, international phone, leased line, audiotext and card phone services.
