Jerusalem Mayor Uri Lupoliansky has called on Teva chairman Eli Hurvitz to set up Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.'s (Nasdaq:TEVA; TASE:TEVA) headquarters in the city. In a letter to Hurvitz yesterday, Lupoliansky congratulated him on Teva's acquisition of Ivax Corp. (AMEX:IVX).

Lupoliansky said Jerusalem was unquestionably the city where Teva-Ivax should set up its headquarters. Many international companies have already discovered the city's advantages. We at the municipality will be happy to help find a suitable site and quickly build …
