Statesman News Service SILIGURI, Aug 2. The pro-Kamtapur organisations are in turmoil and a struggle to take control of the movement has broken out among the different camps.
The development comes after the Kamtapur Peoples Partys Atul Roy faction applied for and got registration as the Kamtapur Progressive Party from the Election Commission of India.
According to Mr Atul Roy, due to the confusion raging over which faction was the genuine KPP, the ECI decided against allotting registration under the name of the Kamtapur Peoples Party.
