Aug. 4--Lightweight concrete producer, Quality Construction Products Plc is trying to maintain its position as the market leader through a price-reduction strategy and by producing a complete range of products to support fast construction.

Payont Sakdejayont, the company's chief executive officer, said that since the beginning of the year, Q-Con's sales in terms of volume had increased approximately 20 percent as a result of a 10 percent cut in product prices.
