Organic grocer to open in Paramus.

Aug. 4--Whole Foods is coming to Paramus with one of its biggest stores.

The company, which claims to be the nation's largest natural and organic retailer, confirmed Wednesday that it has signed a lease for a 77,000-square-foot store at the Bergen Mall as part of its national expansion.

Officials at Whole Foods were unable to provide details or the exact location in the mall, and Vornado Realty Trust, which owns the Route 4 shopping center, declined comment.

But Tom Wells, an attorney representing Vornado, ruled out two possible sites -- east of Forest Avenue where ShopRite operated for many years until it opened …
