Aug. 3--Indorama Polymers Plc (IRP) made its debut on the Stock Exchange of Thailand yesterday as investors took 6.13 percent off the value of the initial public offering share price of 3.75 baht despite the overall market gain.
The stock opened at 4.10 baht and reached a high at 4.14 baht, before falling to close at 3.52 baht. Total trade for the day was 1.48 billion baht.
Aloke Lohia, chief executive of IRP, said he was pleased just the same since there was strong demand during the bookbuilding process and the subscription.
