Aug. 3--Finansa Life Assurance, formerly Nationwide Life Assurance, has finally seen the light at the end of tunnel after years in the doldrums caused by frequent changes of ownership, claiming to achieve its first profit in several years.
"Everything is getting better. We posted a net profit of 29 million baht for the first six months, and we are upbeat about achieving a net profit of about 100 million by the end of this year," said Soontorn Boonsai, the company's president.
