Aug. 2--Casseday Lohr of Gill fought back the tears of happiness as she accepted congratulations from friends and family Monday evening when she was named top showman of the 2005 Weld County Fair.

"Words can't describe this. This is something I've been working for the past 10 years," said the 18-year-old Platte Valley High School at Kersey graduate.

"This is the best way to end my 4-H career. I just couldn't have hoped for more," she said.

Reserve championship honors in the senior division went to Samantha Allmer of Briggsdale, while the intermediate division was won by Shelby Hojio of Gill with Kamber Carlson of…
