Measuring 0.5 in. dia x 3.5-4 in. long, sensors are available as UNAM 12U9914/S14D analog models with variable signals and sensing distances up to 3.25 in., or UNAM 12P1914/S14D discrete models with sensing accuracy up to 2.75 in. Nose cone or beam collimator narrows focus of 12 mm sensors to opening of 4.9 mm. With beam angle of 6[degrees] and resolution less than 0.3 mm, units can access tight spaces and are suited for detecting small changes in level.
