Summertime and the weather has broken, school is out and the roads are all choked. Large sections of European enterprise are effectively closed for the duration, and Greek shipowners have returned to their roots.
No longer bound by the tyrranies of school holidays, I prefer to lurk about the capital enjoying the relative peace between the keening of police sirens and wondering what on earth I am going to write about when all my contacts have gone to ground.
