After 25 days in the United States and away from the political turmoil at home, First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo arrived in Manila at 4:25 p.m. yesterday on board a Cathay Pacific Airways flight from Hong Kong.
He has come home to bury a sister.
And he has come home to mark his and his wife's 37th wedding anniversary.
It will all happen in the midst of allegations linking President Macapagal-Arroyo to election cheating and the First Gentleman to taking gambling payoffs.
