Dragons extend streak to 11

Shigeki Noguchi turned back the clock at Tokyo Dome on Sunday. The veteran southpaw pushed the Chunichi Dragons to their longest winning streak since 1999--the year he won his Central League MVP Award.
Noguchi (3-4) held the Yomiuri Giants hitless for 6-2/3 innings with great command of both his 140-kph fastball and his superior slider as the Dragons beat the Giants 4-1 at Tokyo Dome for their 11th straight victory.
The Amazing Slider Man overcame a seventh-inning home run to allow two hits in eight innings.
