workman dies of suspected heatstroke

A workman died of suspected heatstroke at a container site in the New Territories yesterday. Wong Wing-kwong, 54, collapsed at midday when the mercury hit 32 degrees Celsius. Fellow workers said Wong, who was helping them load goods at Ping Che in Ta Kwu Ling, had complained of dizziness just before he collapsed. He had worked at the site for seven years.
