SEOUL, July 27 (Yonhap) -- The number of South Korean Internet banking customers rose 1.4 percent as of the end of June from three months earlier due to a rise in corporate banking customers, the central bank said Wednesday.
The number of customers registered for Internet banking services reached 22.9 million as of the end of June, up from 22.6 million at the end of March, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
Corporate customers rose 7.4 percent to 1.52 million, while the number of retail customers was up 1 percent to 21.4 million, the BOK said.
