Moscow, 27 July: Russia's President Vladimir Putin has assured that the state will spend more money on the development of the power structures [law-enforcement agencies] and social support for servicemen.

"Increased economic possibilities [increased oil revenue] today allow us to implement long-term programmes for the development of the armed forces and other structures that are responsible for the security of our country and the security of citizens," the head of state said at a meeting with top officers.
