Industry: EPC Contract Signed for Hai Phong Thermal Power Plant.

The Hai Phong Thermal Power Plant Joint Stock Company yesterday signed an EPC contract in Hanoi with Dongfang of China and Marubeni of Japan for the construction of the Hai Phong Thermal Power Plant.
The contract (package 8) is valued at $500 million, and covers design making, manufacturing, equipment supply, construction and installation. The consortium of contractors will implement the contract within 34 months for the first turbine and 40 months for the second one.
