Afghan TV discusses why Kabul needs new development master plan.

At 1400 gmt on 23 June, Afghan Tolu TV aired its regular weekly discussion feature, the "Gozarosh-e Shashonim" ("The 6.30 Report") programme. The programme looked at Kabul's need for a development plan. It highlighted the challenges facing the reconstruction process in Kabul and the problems caused by the increase in the size of the city's population.

The presenter said Kabul's municipal council is implementing a city development master plan that was drawn up 25 years ago.
