Moscow, 24 June: Russian natural gas monopoly Gazprom (GAZP) plans to transfer its stakes in media companies to its subsidiary Gazprombank and to transfer stakes in power companies owned by Gazprombank into a separate company, Gazprom's CEO Aleksey Miller told the company's annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) Friday.

Miller said that the transfer would allow Gazprom to restructure its power assets in the future.
