New York, 24 June: Prime Minister [PM] Phan Van Khai rang the bell for the 9.30 a.m. [local time] start of business at the New York Stock Exchange on 23 June. PM Khai, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan and Finance Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung, was warmly welcomed by NYSE chief executive officer John Thain at the bell ringing ceremony.
