Section: Regional News - Implementation of the China-Asean free-trade agreement has begun, but doubts remain as to whether the combined 1.8 billion-strong market will benefit Thailand and other members of the regional grouping due to China's domestic trade regulations and the question of access to its wealthier regions, The Nation reports.

Today also marks the start of the free-trade agreement with New Zealand, under which Thailand will provide immediate duty-free access for more than half of New Zealand's current exports, and full free trade within a decade.
