Text of report by Ja'far Mahmud entitled "Several officials in the Health Ministry were found involved in corruption cases" published by Iraqi Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) newspaper Al-Ta'akhi on 27 June

Secretary of the [Iraqi] Health Ministry Dr Jalil al-Shimmari has said that the ministry had initiated a campaign against corruption which the ministry was suffering from. He said the campaign had already found a number of officials involved in corruption cases, particularly in the company responsible for importing and marketing medicine and other medial equipment.
