Jakarta, June 27 (ANTARA) - Director of the International Labor Organization (ILO) Alan Boulton said here on Monday that lower school fees would be effective means to reduce the number of child labor in Indonesia.

"We believe that lower school fees would reduce the number of school drop outs and child workers, because the result of the latest research by ILO indicated that that unaffordable school fees have become one main reason for parents who have their children (71 pct) dropped out of school hild or never have school education," Alan said in a seminar on child labor and education opportunities.
