PEKAN, June 27 (Bernama) -- DRB-Hicom Defence Technology Sdn Bhd (Deftech), a wholly owned company of DRB-Hicom Group, plans to build a plant in Bertam, Kepala Batas for the maintenance and repair of the Augusta helicopter operating in Malaysia and the region.

DRB-Hicom Group chairman Tan Sri Mohd Saleh Sulong said that the plan would be implemented through Deftech's strategic partnership with Agusta Westland, world renowned manufacturer of helicopters from Italy.
