A leading supplier of air pollution control systems for more than 45 years, the company's first six months of fiscal year 1993 were disappointing. Sales for the quarter ending Sept. 30, 1992 were $17.6 million, down from $23.8 million for the same quarter the year before. Begun as an independent division of Koppers Company Inc. and publicly held since 1990, the company reported a loss of $2.03 million during the second quarter, or ($.29) per share, as opposed to income of $1.75 million or $.25 per share last year.
