New chief executive, Donald Tsang, has spoken of his dream to build Hong Kong into a city of steady economic growth, good employment and a place of social harmony. In an interview, he said his job was to restore the confidence of Hong Kong citizens and give full play to the region's economic advantages, noting one of dreams was for Hong Kong's economic development to contribute to the rejuvenation of China. He said Hong Kong's economic recovery was on track but noted he expected his administration to do a better job in economic development.
