As THE LITERARY lustre of biblical text is largely unsuited to graphic representation, I resisted pressure to see Mel Gibson's film The Passion of the Christ. For me, the Lion of Judah's revelation as the Lamb of God is experienced in liturgical season and Eucharistic meal, not in blockbuster movies.
