Hunter Industries, a specialist in irrigation products, is playing a vital role in greening the UAE through its tailor-made solutions that are ideally suited for the region's extreme climatic conditions, says Hunter's regional manager Hanna Zaidan
"Establishing and maintaining the landscaping in the Gulf region is not an easy task, as one has to contend with not only the obvious challenges of the sandy soil and temperature variations, but also winds and the limited water resources. However, while this task is difficult, it is not impossible thanks to Hunter Industries' rugged and reliable products," Zaidan adds
Hunter high-performing products were first introduced to the UAE more than 15 years ago, when its dependable I-41 and I-31 pop-up rotor sprinklers were installed at some major projects such as Al Mamzar Park, Safa Park, and the Dubai Exiles Rugby Club. "The latter project earned the distinction of being the first turf-grass rugby pitch in the region," Zaidan comments. "Prior to that, a typical rugby pitch in Dubai was nothing more than a dusty field, for the simple reason that growing high-quality grass was difficult in the local climate."
