KVM well poised to meet challenges.

German manufacturer of construction equipment KVM is aiming at establishing its presence in the region's block-making machines market with its new 105/125-DF. The machine, which was launched by the company at last year's Big 5 show, is well poised to take on the challenges of Dubai's fast-paced market for its ability to offer faster production times, says a spokesman. "The new-generation machine, part of a new development from the KVM Group for the production of concrete paving stones and paving slabs - has a cycle time of less than 10 seconds," explains marketing co-ordinator Lise Grau-Hansen

The KVM 105/125 was designed with provision for flexible integration, in order to replace older machines of different make. This includes moulds for different machine types

Providing unparalleled productivity, KVM 105/125 is the fastest of its type to date, he claims.The pallet size of the machine is now 1,100 mm by 1,400 mm, which usually provides space for 48 paving stones per drop. The machine also features options allowing easy product change with a run-in period of less than 15 minutes. All in all, it provides customers increased capacity and greater flexibility in the manufacture of paving block products, he says

The new machine, which has been designed using the latest 3-D CAD equipment is 40 per cent heavier, sturdier than ever, has fewer welded joints, a substantially lower centre of gravity and a more stable construction, enabling it to withstand even the toughest loads at maximum output speed, he adds
